මෙවර ඉන්දියාවේ පැවැත්වෙන ලෝක රූ රැජන තරගය සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කරමින් සහභාගී වන්නේ අනුදි කරුණාරත්න යි.

ඇය ඒ සඳහා පසුගිය දා දිවයිනෙන් නික්ම ගියා.

අනුදිගේ දක්ෂතාව, කැපවීම, මිනිසත්බව හා ධෛර්‍ය සම්පන්න භව පිළිබඳ ඉතා හෘදයාංගම ෆේස්බුක් සටහනක් ඇගේ පෙම්වතා වන සාලින්ද සමරකෝන් විසින් තබා තිබෙනවා.

තම පෙම්වතා/පෙම්වතියගේ ඉදිරි ගමනට අකුල් හෙලන පුද්ගලයක් බහුල මෙවන් සමයක සාලින්ද විසින් අනුදිට දක්වන සහයෝගය වෙනුවෙන් ප්‍රසාදය පළ කරමින් බොහෝ දෙනා එම සටහන ෆේස්බුක් හි නැවත බෙදාගෙන තිබුණා.

එම සටහන පහතින්,

We were once just babies, and now she’s flying off to India as the most promising Miss World Sri Lanka we have seen in decades. From the very beginning, she has been selfless. She never sought the spotlight for her own gain. Instead, she wanted to bring the crown to Sri Lanka, to represent those who have long gone unseen, and to stand for something greater than herself.

The journey to this moment has not been easy. She has faced countless trials, setbacks, and unjust hate. Yet, I have never known a person more headstrong and resilient. When she had a hundred reasons to give up, she always found one reason to keep going.

It is incredibly difficult to break into the world of beauty and glamour, especially if you are not from Colombo, and if you have a functioning moral compass. But Anudi made it happen. She shattered expectations, challenged prejudice, and opened doors for others to follow.

No matter what happens on the 31st of May, she has already made history. She is one in a century, and I am endlessly proud to call her mine.
