ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ උපන් ජනප්‍රිය දමිල රූපවාහිනී සහ දමිල සිනමා නිළියක් වූ සුභාෂිණී පසුගියදා අවසන් ගමන් ගියා. ඇය අවසන් ගමන් යන්නේ ඇයගේ 37වන උපන්දනය දාම වීම විශේෂත්වයක්. ඇයගේ නික්මයාම සම්බන්ධයෙන් නිරංජනා ඇගේ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ගිණුමට සටහනක් එක්ක තිබුණා.

Today is your 37th birthday… yet it is also the day we must say our final goodbye. This is the last day we will feel your presence among us. Today, the final rites of you, (Subashini Balasubramaniyam), will be held at the Wellisara burial grounds at 3:00 pm.

I still remember this was the day I first wished you on your birthday when we got to know each other. I never imagined that one day, this same moment would become the last time I would ever wish you.

If there is another life, another birth waiting for you, I pray it brings you endless happiness, good health, and a long, beautiful life. No words can truly express the disbelief and deep sorrow I feel right now.

I hope I will get to wish you again in another lifetime. Until then… rest in peace.

සුභාෂිණීගේ අවසන් ගමන දා එම අවමංගල්‍ය උත්සවයට ඇගේ සැමියා සහභාගී තිබුණා. මින් ඉහත මාධ්‍ය මඟින් කියවුනේ පෞද්ගලික ආරවුලක් මත ඇගේ සියදිවි නසා ගැනීම සිදු වූ බවයි.

එයට හේතුව සැමියා සමඟ දුරකත ඇමතුමක සිදුවූ බහින් බස්වීමක් බවටද කියවුණා. එවන් පීඩාකාරී මොහොතකින් පසු තම බිරිඳගේ වියෝව දරාගත නොහැකි සැමියා ඇගේ අවසන් කටයුතු වලට සහභාගී වී තිබුණා.
